Although the official start of spring may still be weeks away, for the Ohio State football team, it begins today. Spring practices at Ohio State kick off this morning, signaling the start of intense preparations for the upcoming season. Additionally, the coaching staff will be welcoming recruits, both during practices and throughout the busy camp schedule.

Ryan Day and his team recognize the significance of recruiting, particularly in light of changes in college football such as NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) and the transfer portal. Consequently, it’s no surprise that the Buckeyes are already hosting a number of recruits today.

Given that it’s a Tuesday, most of the recruits visiting campus this morning will likely be from Ohio. Day has emphasized the importance of retaining the state’s top recruits, and the spring recruiting camps serve as a valuable tool in achieving this goal.

As Ohio State gears up for spring practices, the Buckeyes are not only welcoming multiple recruits to campus at the start, but they’re also extending invitations to recruits throughout the entire spring season. The list of visitors to Ohio State continues to grow with new additions being announced regularly, including several notable names announced on Monday.
