JUST IN: Seahawks unlikely to play in Brazil in 2024, but a trip to London is not out of the question.

The “home” clubs for the International Series the following season were revealed by the NFL. The first-ever voyage to São Paulo, Brazil, is quite significant. Since the Seattle Seahawks will not be playing the Philadelphia Eagles in the upcoming season, we can rule out their trip to South America.

In Week 1, the Eagles’ opponent is yet to be announced, but the kickoff is scheduled for Friday night. Yes, the NFL will take over your life right away. The Super Bowl champions play on Thursday night, the regular Sunday schedule is followed by a Friday night game in Brazil and Monday Night Football.

The Seahawks might potentially meet the Chicago Bears at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London based on their road itinerary. In the 2018 match, Seattle defeated the Raiders 27-3 at Wembley Stadium. In the NFL’s inaugural regular season game in Germany two years prior, the Seahawks suffered a 21-16 defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Being one of the only teams that hasn’t forfeited a home game when playing abroad or in Canada, I wouldn’t be shocked if the Seahawks’ next trip abroad is a “home” game.

It is anticipated that the schedule for the Bears (as well as the other teams hosting the International Series) will be revealed before the whole regular season schedule is released in May.
