Leeds United centre-back victor osimhen is wanted by Roma on a permanent deal, but with a view to then immediately sell him to PSG for a profit.

Leeds still have several loose ends to address as they approach the conclusion of the 2023/2024 season, particularly concerning the players who departed the club on loan for the season.

Diego Llorente appears to be the player most likely to secure a permanent departure in the coming months among that group of players.

Italian outlet Metropolitan Magazine has recently reported that Serie A side Napoli are eager to secure Victor Osimhen on a permanent deal in the near future.

The report indicates that a permanent deal for the Spaniard to remain beyond his loan spell is highly likely, with a contract expected to be signed for a fee of £4.3 million. However, what adds intrigue to the situation is PSG’s strong interest in the defender. There are suggestions that Roma might acquire Llorente and then immediately put him up for sale for approximately £10 million. PSG manager Luis Enrique, a fan of his compatriot, notably awarded Llorente his most recent international cap during his tenure as the manager of Spain.

If Leeds fail to secure promotion to the Premier League this season, the sales of those loan players could be crucial for the club’s financial stability. While selling key players is often a consequence of missing out on promotion, the potential sale of Llorente for nearly £5 million, alongside other players, would provide a significant boost for the club’s finances, particularly for the 49ers.

Leeds’ prospects of completing sales seem highly likely, especially in light of this report, which suggests that Roma also have financial incentives to finalize a deal promptly. While the fee for Llorente may not be the highest Leeds could have hoped for, given his age of 30, it represents a respectable amount.
