The referee, he suggests, was not firm.

The WNBA is starting to see officiating issues. Angel Reese has a strong personality that she brought with her to the Chicago Sky from LSU, although she hardly ever deliberately defies the law or irritates people. Thus, it attracted attention when her night, during their conflict with the New York Liberty, ended abruptly. Everyone felt that the expulsion was unfairly harsh. The call that was made against her even had Chicago Bulls player Lonzo Ball scratching his head.

Lonzo Ball finds the ejection puzzling

Angel Reese will speak up and express her worries. It’s a big part of who she is, which is why many WNBA fans enjoy watching her. It was during the Sky’s fierce combat with the Liberty that she felt the need to voice a worry. After that, she screamed, “That’s bullsh**t,” as her arms whipped about in the air. The officials felt that they had had enough. The rookie for Sky was given two technical fouls and was removed from the game.

Many people were perplexed as to why Angel Reese had been fired in the first place. During this match between Sky and Liberty, Lonzo Ball took to social media to criticize the referee. Even so, the Bulls guard offered to cover her fee.

“Btw, the ref who dismissed @Reese10Angel is weak. Lonzo Ball wrote, “You know who you are (keep ya money, angel, I got you).”

Not just the Bulls player showed up to support the rookie from the Sky. Not even Sabrina Ionescu, her opponent, could comprehend why she was eliminated from the game for merely expressing her feelings throughout the match. Approaching the authorities, the sniper questioned, “She got two techs for saying that’s bullsh**?”

The WNBA has yet to provide a clear explanation for why they felt her two remarks were serious enough to warrant her ejection. There were undoubtedly other angry Sky loyal members at the state of affairs. After all, Reese was enjoying himself greatly while opposing the Liberty. There was a possibility that the Liberty might have lost if they hadn’t taken her out of the game.

All momentum from the Sky was halted when Reese left before crunch time. The lead that they had entering the fourth quarter was quickly disintegrating. They needed a spark plug and being one woman down did not help. Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu took advantage of the situation and ran with it. They ended up preventing the Sky from scoring more than nine points in the fourth while recording 23 points of their own.

Still, Reese continued to shoot in an attempt to keep her squad afloat. She made just one of her eight free throws in the game, finishing with 13 points. She only shot three out of ten on the field, but she still had an impact on the game in other ways. She ended up pulling down ten rebounds, which allowed her to record a double-double. Before being forced to leave the court due to the ejection, Reese had recorded a steal and an assist.
