The Leeds Rhinos are scheduled to visit Hunslet tonight (Friday), marking the return of a long-term casualty.

fresh signee In a young Rhinos roster for the yearly Harry Jepson OBE Memorial Trophy derby at South Leeds Stadium, Kieran Hudson has been named. Since sustaining an Achilles injury during the 2023 preseason, the 23-year-old former Castleford Tigers prop has missed more than a year of action.

He is the lone member of the Rhinos’ first team squad for the 7.30 p.m. kickoff. Eight are qualified for the Academy Awards: Kai Taylor-Smith, Oliver Smart, Jacob Rushforth, Harry Taylor, Mason Corbett, Bobby Hartley, Joe Phillips, and Tayler Stephenson. The Rhinos’ reserve team consists of Freddie Brennan-Jones, Ashton Robinson, Dylan Proud, Shane Tuohey, Harrison Gilmore, and Leo Aliyu.

Lewis Hollidge and Sam Webb-Campbell, the other two, were selected by the Rhinos from their dual-registration partner team, the Halifax Panthers. Corbett, Gilmore, Aliyu, Smart, and Proud will all bounce back from last Sunday’s 34-8 loss to the Bradford Bulls.
