Before getting sent off, former Rangers winger Amad Diallo scored the game-winning goal for Manchester United in extra time to overcome bitter rivals Liverpool!

With his late winner in extra time to send the Red Devils to Wembley in what may be Jurgen Klopp’s final FA Cup campaign ever, the youthful Ivorian winger is the talk of Old Trafford.

The Ivorian forward scored the game’s winning goal to advance Manchester United over Liverpool to the FA Cup semi-finals on just his fourth appearance of the campaign.

Amad Diallo wins over Liverpool.
After a thrilling match, Manchester United defeated Liverpool 4-3, with Scott McTominay giving his team the lead in the 10th minute.

Just before halftime, goals from Mohamed Salah and Alexis Mac Allister reversed the course of events, and United had to wait for a late Anthony goal to send the match into extra time.

Harvey Elliot gave Liverpool the lead in the first half of extra time, and Marcus Rashford tied the score in the second, setting up Amad Diallo to take center stage.

Alejandro Garnacho sent the ball to Amad Diallo, who squirted it into the bottom corner as the United onslaught surged forward from a Liverpool corner.

The winger was notably sent off for a second yellow card after pulling off his jersey in celebration, but it will just give this historic victory over Liverpool more context.

Manchester United has plans for the former Rangers winger
Naturally, in the second half of the 21/22 season, Rangers loaned Amad Diallo from Manchester United, but the winger struggled to have a significant influence.

At the end of his Rangers career, the £19 million winger was starting to play a bigger part in the squad and making some of his first steps into British men’s football at Ibrox.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, promised the 21-year-old minutes earlier in the season after he spent the previous campaign on loan at Sunderland.

Despite the difficulty in creating opportunities, the Dutch coach has fulfilled his word, as Manchester United advances at Liverpool’s expense thanks to the heroics of Amad Diallo.

This past summer, a striker linked to Rangers also played a significant part in another FA Cup semifinal this weekend.
