Victor Wembanyama is just beginning.

With his skills on the basketball court, Victor Wembanyama never fails to wow onlookers. The rookie for the San Antonio Spurs is already a formidable presence on the court simply because of his stature. Nonetheless, Wembanyama’s ability to combine his stature with remarkable athleticism, agility, and court awareness is making him a far more potent weapon for the Spurs, who defeated the Indiana Pacers 117-105 at home on Sunday, mostly due to his contributions.

Wembanyama had another outstanding effort against the Pacers, following up his huge performance last Thursday in an upset victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder 132-118. In just 31 minutes of play, he scored 31 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, dished out six assists, blocked six shots, and stole the ball. StatMuse reports that Wembanyama just made league history by being the first player to accomplish a mind-bending feat with that amazing display of all-around skill.

The only rookie in NBA history to record back-to-back 25 points/10 rebounds/5 assists/5 blocks is Wemby. Incredible.

Furthermore, Wembanyama became a member of another elite team that includes NBA History greats David Robinson and Tim Duncan from San Antonio.

“Victor Wembanyama has become the only rookie in NBA history to record 30+ points, 10+ rebounds, 5+ assists, and 5+ blocks in a game, joining David Robinson (2 times) and Tim Duncan.”

With a 13-48 record, the Spurs have little chance of qualifying for the 2024 NBA Playoffs. However, with Wembanyama coaching the club, they can already begin to see the postseason success they will have in the future. Wemby is just getting things going for now.
