Ava Hunt, heiress to the Kansas City Chiefs, proudly posed alongside her billionaire father, Clark Hunt, as she celebrated her commitment to join the cheerleading squad at Southern Methodist University (SMU).

The 17-year-old high school senior and social media influencer has openly expressed her aspirations to cheer for her father’s NFL team, and now, she’s taking a significant step toward achieving that goal.

Announcing her commitment on Instagram, Ava shared her excitement about officially joining SMU’s cheer squad for the upcoming fall season, expressing gratitude for the opportunity and leaving her parents feeling incredibly proud.

In a heartfelt caption accompanying a carousel of images capturing the signing moment, the teen exclaimed, “It’s official! So beyond thankful for the opportunity to keep doing what I love.”

In one photo, Ava could be seen eagerly signing her name on the contract with a wide grin on her face, while another captured her sitting beside her new coaches, with her proud parents standing behind her in support.

Another image showed Ava standing alongside her mom and dad, all three beaming with happiness towards the camera.

Ava’s mother, former beauty queen Tavia Hunt, took to her own social media account to express her immense pride in her daughter’s accomplishment.

“Congratulations @AvaHunt on committing to cheer at SMU,” Tavia wrote. “Your hard work, dedication, and God-given abilities have brought you this incredible opportunity. We are so proud of you and grateful to God for guiding you on this journey. Your joy is contagious, and we can’t wait to see you shine bright at the next level.”

Tavia, 52, also extended her gratitude to Ava’s coaches for their guidance and support over the years. “Your example, love, and mentorship have impacted all of us deeply, and what you do MATTERS,” she added.

Ava’s father, Clark, 59, serves as the owner, chairman, and CEO of the Kansas City Chiefs, while her mother, Tavia, was crowned Miss Kansas USA in 1993. The influential family boasts an estimated net worth of $24.8 billion, according to Forbes.
