Former Alabama All-American Landon Dickerson has inked a lucrative four-year, $84 million contract extension with the Philadelphia Eagles, complete with a hefty $20 million signing bonus and $50 million guaranteed. When asked about his plans for his newfound wealth, Dickerson humorously mentioned considering buying a new lawnmower, specifically a zero-turn model.

Despite having one year left on his rookie contract, the Eagles swiftly moved to secure Dickerson’s future in Philadelphia. The offensive lineman expressed gratitude towards Eagles general manager Howie Roseman for showing faith in him and providing job security in the volatile NFL landscape.

Dickerson has earned Pro Bowl honors in each of his past two seasons as the Eagles’ left guard. His contract extension sets a high bar for guard contracts, with only Atlanta Falcons’ Chris Lindstrom boasting a deal with greater total value.

The former Alabama standout’s versatility and talent have made him a vital asset for the Eagles. While Jason Kelce’s retirement has left uncertainty at the center position, Dickerson remains unsure if he’ll be shifted to center for the upcoming season. Nonetheless, he remains confident in the team’s depth and ability to fill any gaps on the offensive line.
