LATEST NEWS: The latest remarks from DeMarcus Lawrence hurt Cowboys supporters.

With the largest sports media week of the year coming up, Super Bowl LVIII is quickly approaching.

Numerous media organizations, both large and little, swarm to obtain any nugget of information from coaches and players taking part in the Super Bowl.

The 49ers and Chiefs players don’t, however, receive all of the camera time.

Superstars and well-known figures from other NFL clubs are also present; the majority of them competed in the Pro Bowl.

Recently, a player for the Cowboys appeared on the First Take set, a program known for demonizing anything Dallas-related.

Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, who has played for ten years, shared some screen time with Joy Taylor, Shannon Sharpe, and Stephen A. Smith.

Sharpe asked Lawrence, “You say you wish your team was here (Las Vegas).” “What transpired and why isn’t your team present?”

Since the video was released, Cowboys Twitter and X have been in a frenzy over his response.

To be completely honest, I believe that the primary issue was that we were exhausted, dude. Long season…the legs fatigue out.

Lawrence praised the Packers for having a smart game plan to penetrate and expose the Cowboys’ defense right after making that statement.

However, the harm had already occurred.

The comments made by Lawrence sparked a barrage of thoughts, opinions, and indignation on Cowboys Twitter/X.

Tank, we too are exhausted.

Weary of the Group Being Unprepared: A recurrent theme is Lawrence praising the Packers and staff for having a game plan that the Cowboys were ill-prepared to counter.

As for me, I’ve felt every loss since Dallas last made it to the NFC Championship Game in 1996.

Like most Cowboys fans, I’m weary of hearing the excuse that we weren’t prepared.

The Cowboys have a terrible tendency of not living up to the hype, but even worse, we now assume that other teams are more prepared than ours.

The Cowboys, who were 13-3 and the number one seed in 2007, hosted the Giants, who had just about missed the playoffs, in the last week of the regular season.

That day, Dallas ended a season that had the biggest hopes since winning the Super Bowl in 1995 with a 21-17 loss at home.

There was a common belief among the players that they were underprepared and uninspired going into the game against the humble Giants.

Dallas was the conference’s top seed once more in 2016 and hosted the Packers in the NFC Divisional Round.

Aaron Rodgers put Dallas in a 21-3 deficit early on, from which they would eventually but not completely recover.

The Packers came out and gave the Cowboys an early lead, squandering another #1 seed in the process.

In the Wildcard round of 2021, the #3-seeded Cowboys hosted the #6-seeded San Francisco 49ers.

San Francisco’s potent running attack and staunch defense would help them build a 23-7 lead into the fourth quarter.

Dallas would lose 23–17, and people would start talking about how unprepared they had been once more.

They were ill-prepared for the 49ers’ physical style of play and were unable to react quickly enough to tie the game.

And now for the latest defeat to Green Bay.

The last thing we want to hear is that the team was underprepared and exhausted for the season’s biggest game.

Please hold off on your “tired” remarks, Tank. We fans aren’t tired of you and your teammates more than you are.
