LATEST NEWS: The Rams have hired Sean Desai, a former defensive coordinator with the Eagles.
Assistant coach Sean Desai is looking forward to a new beginning with the Rams after a difficult season with the Eagles.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Desai is anticipated to join the Rams as a senior defensive coach.
Desai was hired by the Eagles to serve as defensive coordinator the previous year, but he was sacked after the season and demoted late in the campaign. Desai was the Bears’ defensive coordinator for the 2021 season. In 2022, he was an associate head coach with the Seahawks.
After their previous defensive coordinator, Raheem Morris, was appointed as head coach of the Falcons and took numerous Rams assistants with him, the Rams are rebuilding their defensive coaching staff under new coordinator Chris Shula.
