Guard Kevin Dotson has re-signed with the Los Angeles Rams to a three-year deal worth $48 million, of which $32 million is guaranteed.

Dotson, who the Rams acquired in 2023, was named Pro Football Focus’ second-best guard after starting 14 games in the previous campaign.

Dotson played for the Pittsburgh Steelers before coming to the Rams. In 2022, he started 17 games until losing his starting position.

Over the course of his four-year NFL career, Dotson has participated in 53 regular-season games, 44 of which he has started.

In order to maintain the possibility of matching any offer sheet that starting left tackle Alaric Jackson receives, the Rams also intend to place him on a restricted tender.

The Steelers acquired Dotson from the Los Angeles Rams on August 27, 2023, in exchange for a 2024 fourth-round selection and a 2025 fifth-round selection, as well as their 2024 fifth-round draft pick and 2025 sixth-round pick.

In Week 4, he was appointed the starting right guard, a position he held the entire season.
