Here’s a summary of the incidents reported across Pennsylvania during this period:

A Bucks County man, Trevor Christopher Weigel, aged 23, was charged on Sunday in connection with the stabbing death of a 19-year-old woman in Lower Makefield Township. Weigel faced charges of criminal homicide, burglary, possession of an instrument of crime, disorderly conduct, and harassment. He was arraigned Sunday afternoon via video before District Judge Mick Petrucci in Newtown.

The judge presented the charges against Weigel, who appeared via video from his hospital bed where he is receiving treatment for self-inflicted stab wounds to the neck. Weigel was also informed of his right to legal representation.

According to Lower Makefield Township Police, officers responded to a disturbance on Waterford Road at 2:45 p.m. Friday, where they found a man stabbing a 19-year-old woman. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by officers, the woman succumbed to multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

In another incident, a Chester police officer was shot and the shooter was killed on Saturday afternoon, as reported by authorities. The injured officer is recuperating at a local hospital and is expected to be discharged soon. The shootings occurred around 3:30 p.m. on West 14th Street and Arbor Drive, following an attempted car stop by the officer.

A woman in Delaware County sustained injuries and her cats perished in a house fire on Monday morning. Firefighters responded to the blaze on the 9200 block of West Chester Pike just before 6:30 a.m. The fire was brought under control around 9 a.m., but multiple cats were tragically killed.
