During the January transfer window, the striker left Wolves to join Rangers on loan.
James McFadden claims that Fabio Silva, a winger for the Rangers, has discovered his newfound magic.

In games against Benfica and Hibs last week, the Wolves loanee made an impression. He was involved in two goals in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16 match, which finished 2-2. He then scored the game-winning goal at Easter Road to book a semi-final matchup with Hibs in the Scottish Cup.

Silva has four goals since joining from Wolves on loan in January. Speaking during the Scottish Cup quarterfinal ties on BBC Sport Scotland, Scotland star James McFadden said he could see how Rangers manager Philippe Clement was making the most of his January acquisition.
“Rangers go and get the job done,” he declared. Fabio Silva, who has been a terrific asset off the left side. He has supported and played as a number nine, but he has also looked strong off the left side.

“I believe Cortes has entered the picture and performed admirably for the time being. Despite his injuries, I believe that he poses a threat right now when he comes off the left side.

Next up for Rangers is Benfica in the second leg of their Europa League clash. Tom Lawrence had put them ahead in the tie before Angel Di Maria levelled things up in Lisbon. Silva then played his part in the build-up to Rangers going back in front through Dujon Sterling. Connor Goldson’s own goal means it’s a level game ahead of the teams going back to Ibrox.
