LATEST: Birmingham City and Sunderland are ‘interested’ in Burnley midfielder Scott Twine.
Prior to the transfer season, Sunderland has been connected to the £4 million midfield player.
Scott Twine, a midfield player for Burnley, has been linked to Sunderland.
In order to improve on their 16th-place result from the previous year, the Black Cats will need to add players to their roster when the transfer market reopens this month in preparation for the 2024–25 campaign.
Twine, 24, came up through the ranks at Swindon Town as a youngster after a previous stint with Southampton. The midfielder broke into the EFL club’s team early and made 59 appearances in all competitions as Swindon bounced between League One and League Two.
