Daniel Farke might consider making alterations to his Leeds United lineup for their match against Stoke City tonight. With this being the third game out of four within a span of nine days at Elland Road, Farke aims to ensure the squad is revitalized to return to winning form.

Leeds had several absentees in their weekend draw against Huddersfield Town, including Pascal Struijk, Joe Gelhardt, Jamie Shackleton, and Stuart Dallas. Additionally, they now have fresh selection concerns with Jaidon Anthony sidelined for personal reasons, Shackleton following concussion protocols, and Junior Firpo facing a minor calf issue.

Tomori: "Sto davvero bene al Milan"

There’s a suggestion from Firpo’s Instagram post that he might be included in tonight’s squad, as he typically shares a pre-match graphic before games he’s involved in, similar to other players like Georginio Rutter, Ethan Ampadu, and Illan Meslier. This post strongly hints at his involvement, especially considering the absence of such posts when a player like Rutter missed a previous match.

It’s uncertain if Firpo will start tonight, especially with Sam Byram now fully fit and available for more playing time after intensive training. While Firpo has performed adequately since joining the starting lineup in January, his injury history suggests caution may be warranted regarding his inclusion from the outset, especially given the quick turnaround for the next match against Sheffield Wednesday on Friday. Rotation in that position might be prudent to mitigate any potential injury risks.
