Gorleston traveled to face Stowmarket Town. The Greens, who are the holders of the Norfolk Cup, had advanced to the semi-final after a midweek victory. Additionally, they had recently secured a win in the league against Ipswich Wanderers, aiming to maintain their momentum and potentially break into the top ten. The match began positively for Gorleston, as they took the lead after thirteen minutes with Luke Johnson converting a penalty. Just three minutes later, they doubled their advantage when Ismael Fatadjo found the back of the net for their second goal.

Stowmarket began the day thirteen points adrift from safety, having yet to secure a win all season. Their prospects of reversing this trend appeared bleak, especially when Ismael Fatadjo scored a third goal for Gorleston on thirty-five minutes. Any hope for Stowmarket was effectively dashed when Gorleston netted a fourth goal twelve minutes into the second half, courtesy of Kieran Higgs. The onslaught continued as Gorleston added a fifth and sixth goal, with Christy Finch and Fatadjo completing his hat trick, sealing a comprehensive victory.
