Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo exits game due to calf injury

Giannis Antetokounmpo, the star player for the Milwaukee Bucks, felt a calf strain in the third quarter of the team’s game against the Boston Celtics today.

Antetokounmpo took a few steps after a made basket to bring the ball inbounds and then, unharmed, fell on the floor. TNT’s broadcast later showed him entering the locker room on his own strength after he grabbed at his lower left leg and was lifted off the ground by medical personnel.

After being declared out of the game in the fourth quarter, Antetokounmpo never came back. He had a left soleus strain, according to Milwaukee’s diagnosis. One of the calf’s muscles is the soleus.

“That’s a valid query. Coach Doc Rivers of the Bucks said, “High,” when asked how concerned he was. However, he’s Giannis. I believe that everyone is currently experiencing similar feelings to mine. Thus, all we can do is hope for the best.”

Antetokounmpo finished his 29 minutes of play with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 blocks. Out of 11 attempts, he made 7 field goals.

The 29-year-old Antetokounmpo has averaging 30.4 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists in 73 games this season (all starts).

In the end, Milwaukee defeated Boston 104–91. The Bucks play three games remaining in the regular season, beginning on Wednesday against the Orlando Magic, who will be visiting.
