The upcoming 2024 season marks the Seattle Seahawks’ 49th in the National Football League (NFL), their 15th under the management of general manager John Schneider, and their inaugural season under the guidance of head coach Mike Macdonald. Having concluded the current season, the Seahawks are now turning their attention to the future. The team wrapped up the second consecutive regular season with a 9-8 record, falling short of securing a playoff spot this time.

Despite securing a narrow victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, the Seahawks’ playoff hopes were dashed as the Green Bay Packers triumphed over the Chicago Bears, resulting in the Seahawks finishing behind the Packers in the standings due to tiebreakers. This means that the Seattle Seahawks will have to wait until the commencement of the 2024 season in September for their next meaningful football engagement.
