North Alabama Lions have revealed their 2024 football schedule, including a matchup against the Memphis Tigers.

The season kicks off on Aug. 24 with the FCS Kickoff game against the Southeast Missouri Redhawks at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala.

Director of Athletics Dr. Josh Looney expressed excitement about the opportunity to open the season on ESPN’s Week 0 program, highlighting the exposure it brings to the university.

After the FCS Kickoff, the Lions will face the Memphis Tigers on Aug. 31, followed by their home opener against the Illinois State Redbirds at Braly Memorial Stadium in Florence, Ala., on Sept. 7.

 

The non-conference portion concludes with a road trip to play the UT Martin Skyhawks on Sept. 14.

United Athletic Conference (UAC) action begins at home on Sept. 28 against West Georgia, followed by home games against Abilene Christian, Austin Peay, and Southern Utah. Road games include matchups against Utah Tech, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, and Stephen F. Austin.

North Alabama is aiming to improve upon their 3-8 overall record from the previous season under head coach Brent Dearmon.
