Recently, Novak Djokovic and Goran Ivanisevic, his coach, called it quits.
After being seen in Belgrade, Serbia, training with a possible new coach, Novak Djokovic provided an update. The world number one said earlier this week that he and Goran Ivanisevic had broken up after nearly five years of dating. And after honing his skills under the direction of a fresh face, he has subsequently had a role in selecting a new mentor.

Only a few days ago, Djokovic and Ivanisevic came to an amicable agreement to discontinue their extraordinarily successful collaboration. The 24-time Grand Slam champion revealed the news on Wednesday. “A few days ago, Goran and I made the decision to part ways professionally. Although there were ups and downs in our on-court chemistry, our relationship remained unwavering, he posted on Instagram.

With the Monte Carlo Masters, Djokovic’s next tournament, beginning in less than two weeks, he is suddenly without a coach. Tennis fans are waiting to see who will take over as the world No. 1’s coach, but Djokovic has been spotted working out with former Serbian star Nenad Zimonjic.

As the 36-year-old prepared for the clay season in Belgrade, Zimonjic reportedly offered him some advice, which sparked rumors that he may take Djokovic’s place as coach and possibly travel to Monte Carlo with him. However, Djokovic has now provided an update on his coaching circumstances and said that he wasn’t even certain if he would select an Ivanisevic replacement.

At the documentary’s premiere, Nikola Pilic stated, “I still don’t have a clear idea who a new coach would be, or whether there will be one at all.” “I’ve had coaches since I was a young child, but right now I’m attempting to figure out for myself what I need and what makes me feel most at ease. We’ll let you know if someone joins the team.

The 98-time career title winner talked about his working relationship with Ivanisevic coming to an end. “First and foremost, Goran is my lifelong friend—both mine and my family’s.” Djokovic continued. I hold great affection for him, and our professional partnership does not imply that our relationship will come to an end.

“As positive as a separation can be, our breakup has been good. After nearly five years, we have reached a point where our partnership is no longer possible. And when he thought back on their time together, Djokovic wished the Croat well.

He then on, “Together, we’ve written the history of our sport, won Slams, and finished seasons as the top team in the world.” However, we also faced difficulties like being disqualified from the US Open and being deported from Australia. I will never forget that he brought the correct principles to our relationship and that he was there for me first and foremost as a person. Excellent outcomes followed that kind of chemistry. I hope Goran gets everything
