Despite being in the midst of spring workouts, Ohio State is still actively recruiting. On Thursday, a prominent quarterback target in the 2026 class tweeted on X that he had received an offer from the Buckeyes.

After speaking with Coach Riley Larkin, Coach Chip Kelly, and Coach Ryan Day, Dia Bell said, “I am fortunate and grateful to receive an offer from Ohio State.”

Jeremy Birmingham from OhioStaterivals.com tweeted that Bell was at Ohio State on Thursday.

Bell is in the 2026 class, but since these players will begin to meet with other clubs, it is imperative to jump ahead and seize leadership of the class. Bell announced on Twitter two days ago that he had received an offer from Texas, meaning Ohio State will have stiff competition for this extremely talented quarterback.

Since taking over as head coach of the Buckeyes in 2019, Day has performed admirably in the recruiting rankings, and he is off to a strong start with the 2026 class. In the hopes of adding Bell to the roster of gifted quarterbacks Day has taught in recent years, he hopes to land Bell.
