Jackson Powers-Johnson, a cherished figure among Oregon Ducks enthusiasts throughout his collegiate tenure, played a pivotal role in fueling one of college football’s most potent offenses. His popularity among fans was so immense that a local brewery in Eugene, Oregon, even named a burger after him, a culinary accolade any food enthusiast would covet.

As the 2024 NFL Draft approaches, Powers-Johnson is widely regarded by many draft analysts as one of the premier interior offensive linemen poised to be selected.

During the NFL Scouting Combine on Saturday, Powers-Johnson fielded inquiries and even divulged the components of his signature burger, aptly named the “Big Jax” burger.

“Shoutout to Elk Horn Brewery in Eugene, Oregon,” remarked Powers-Johnson. “It’s not just a sandwich, it’s a burger. The Big Jax burger packs a punch with its array of ingredients, making it a feast fit for a lineman. Starting with a delectable brioche bun, it’s topped with barbecue sauce, queso, macaroni and cheese, pulled pork, bacon, two beef patties, and another bun. If you manage to devour it all, the meal is likely on the house.”

It’s a really substantial burger that would be difficult for most people to finish in one sitting. And it’s a very appropriate one for a player like Powers-Johnson, who weighs about 320 pounds and is six feet three.

When Powers-Johnson and the other offensive linemen invited to the combine on Sunday test for NFL scouts in attendance, it will be an opportunity for him to raise his draft stock.
