Rhyan Mansell undoubtedly was one of the success stories for Richmond in the 2024 season.
The 24-year-old, tenacious small forward averaged a goal a game (21 in total) and was ranked No. 8 in the competition for tackles inside 50, highlighting the intense pressure he applies to the opposition’s defenders.
“I feel like I had a pretty consistent year. Going into the year I wanted to cement a spot in the senior team and I feel like I accomplished that,” Mansell told Richmond Media.
Mansell believes his biggest growth has been from a leadership perspective.
“With ‘Lynchy’ (Tom Lynch) going down, it felt like we didn’t have very much experience up forward. So, I sort of took that in my hands,” he said.
