Juan Larios, a defender for SAINTS, is seen returning to practice during the team’s prolonged international vacation.

Due to his injury, the 20-year-old has not played a minute for the senior or youth teams this season.

On deadline day in 2022, Larios was signed for approximately £5 million from Manchester City; nevertheless, his career has been marred by fitness issues.

The Spaniard made his final appearance in a 4-1 loss to Newcastle United at home during Ralph Hasenhuttl’s final game as manager.

The club’s official media team has since shared a photo of little Larios participating in warm-ups at training on Tuesday.

Larios participated in first team training during the September international break, however he left the practice early due to an injury.

He could provide stand-in protection.

“We will look to integrate him back into the squad fully in the next three to four weeks,” Martin recently told the Daily Echo.

“He needs to put in a lot of effort to get there. Although we genuinely like Juan and are glad to have him, we have been really disappointed in him.

“If we can see him on the pitch or in the squad between now and the end of the season that would be a real bonus.”

Earlier this year, Larios responded to social media followers’ worries by disclosing that he suffered a hamstring injury and saying, “Don’t retire me!”
