Pop singer reacts to Victor Wembanyama’s discussion about Britney Spears’ predicament

The incoming NBA phenom surely didn’t see this one coming.

There is almost always some drama and controversy involved with newly discovered fame. That has already come to pass rather swiftly for Victor Wembanyama.

The rookie sensation for the San Antonio Spurs, who is in Vegas preparing to play in the NBA Summer League, spoke about an incident that happened on Wednesday night on Thursday.

Wembanyama explains the heated occurrence. She grabbed my arm.

Wembanyama omitted a great deal of detail, maybe since he wasn’t there to see the events. Spears, however, is certain that one of Wembanya’s security personnel shoved her away with undue force.

TMZ reports that Spears reported the incident to the police, accusing Damian Smith, the Spurs’ Director of Team Security, of violence.

After Wembanyama’s remarks, Spears shared her version of events on social media and stated, “I have yet to get a public apology from the player, his security, or their organization.”

Wembanyama, a 7-foot-5 Frenchman, was the subject of constant hype for years before being selected first overall in the 2023 NBA Draft in June. On Friday night, he is scheduled to make his eagerly anticipated Summer League debut.

Since the release of “Hold Me Closer” with Elton John almost a year ago, Spears has not been on tour and has not released any new music. Still, she uses social media quite a bit.
