HIGHLIGHTS

  • Coventry City has strengthened its squad with key signings like Luis Binks and Jack Rudoni ahead of the upcoming season.
  • Retaining midfielder Ben Sheaf could be crucial for the team’s success, given his impact and quality on the pitch.
  • Keeping star players like Ellis Simms and Tatsuhiro Sakamoto is essential for Coventry’s promotion quest in 2024/25.

During the summer transfer window, Coventry City has started the window well.

Along with Raphael Borges Rodrigues, Luis Binks (who arrived on loan from Huddersfield Town last season) and Jack Rudoni (who left) have also joined the Sky Blues permanently.

With their current roster, they appear to be quite strong even ahead of the upcoming season, and they still have plenty of time to add a few vital players before the 2024–2025 season begins.

Despite having two senior alternatives in goalkeeping, Mark Robins should consider looking into the position. If Rudoni isn’t going to play in an advanced midfield role, a replacement for Callum O’Hare will also be required.
