One of the top receivers available in the NFL Draft is being studied by the Los Angeles Rams.
The Los Angeles Rams have a good receiving core with Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, and several depth possibilities.
Nevertheless, it’s not impossible that the Rams may select a different receiver in the draft or through free agency. The team’s management has expressed a desire to be aggressive during the offseason, and they will undoubtedly follow through if they determine that acquiring another receiver is the best way to achieve that goal.
L.A. is allegedly even conducting due research on one of the draft’s top receivers. The Rams were one of several clubs to meet with Rome Odunze, a talented receiver for the Washington Huskies who is regarded as one of the top three in this class, at the NFL Scouting Combine, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Additionally, Rapoport stated, “spent some time with the Colts, Jaguars, Rams, and Steelers.” “Those are intriguing because they might be teams that are traded up. A significant trade-up for a receiver happens infrequently, yet occasionally. That is obviously something to be aware of.
Odunze isn’t likely to be available when the Rams choose at No. 19 overall because he’ll probably go
in the top ten or shortly thereafter. However, as Rapoport points out, if the Rams are that desperate to acquire Odunze, they may be able to trade up.\
During his final season at Washington, Odunze caught 92 passes for 1,640 yards and 13 touchdowns, making him maybe the top receiver in the nation. At the combine, the Las Vegas native ran a 4.45 40-yard dash, demonstrating his exceptional speed in addition to his impressive 6-3 and 215-pound body.
either just after or in the top ten. But as Rapoport notes, the Rams might be able to trade up if they are so keen to get Odunze.\
Odunze may be the best receiver in the country after he caught 92 passes for 1,640 yards and 13 scores in his final season at Washington. The Las Vegas native showed off his remarkable speed at the combine in addition to his amazing 6-3 and 215-pound frame with a 4.45 40-yard dash.
