On Wednesday night, the Toronto Raptors will face the challenge of containing the hot shooting of the New York Knicks’ Donte DiVincenzo as they aim to snap their 11-game losing streak.

In the Knicks’ recent victory over the Detroit Pistons, DiVincenzo set a team record by sinking 11 three-pointers, scoring a career-high 40 points. His impressive performance included shooting 14-for-23 from the field, with 20 attempts from beyond the arc. DiVincenzo’s remarkable display puts him within striking distance of breaking Evan Fournier’s club record for three-pointers in a season.

Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau praised DiVincenzo’s consistent contribution throughout the season and credited his teammates for creating opportunities for him on the court.

While the Knicks have other key players who can pose challenges, such as All-Star guard Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, who recorded his sixth triple-double since January, DiVincenzo’s record-breaking performance has undoubtedly captured attention.

Despite the Knicks’ recent success, the Raptors have struggled, failing to secure a victory since March 3. The Knicks have won all three meetings between the two teams this season.

The Raptors will be without key players such as Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl due to injuries, while Jontay Porter remains sidelined pending a gambling investigation.

Former Raptor OG Anunoby and other players acquired in the trade have been dealing with injuries and personal reasons. Coach Darko Rajakovic indicated that they are gradually reintegrating into the team and may soon return to action.

Despite the challenges and changes the Raptors have faced this season, including injuries and roster adjustments, they have achieved a team record for assists in a season.

As they prepare to face the Knicks, the Raptors aim to overcome their recent struggles and end their losing streak, hoping to build on their collective efforts on the court.
