Raptors Sign Guard Kobi Simmons To 10-Day Contract.

Guard Kobi Simmons has signed a 10-day deal with the Toronto Raptors, the team announced on Monday. The deal’s financial details were kept under wraps per team policy.

With Raptors 905 in the NBA G League this season, Simmons, who stands six feet five and weighs 180 pounds, is averaging 15.9 points, 4.9 assists, 4.1 rebounds, and 31.6 minutes per game in 23 regular season games (19 starts). His field goal percentage is.438 (124-283), his three-point percentage is.388 (50-129), and his foul line percentage is.830 (44-53). Six times, including a career-high 36 points on March 11 at Osceola, Simmons has scored 20 points or more. He has scored in double digits in 19 out of 23 games.

Atlanta, Georgia, native Simmons was not selected in the 2017 NBA Draft prior to joining the Memphis Grizzlies. With Memphis, Cleveland, and Charlotte, he played in 38 games (12 starts) and averaged 5.3 points, 1.9 assists, 1.4 rebounds, and 17.7 minutes during his NBA career.

Prior to joining the NBA, Simmons was a member of the Arizona Wildcats’ 2016–17 Pac-12 championship winning team.
