It seems that former Ohio State cornerback Damon Arnette has encountered legal issues.

It appears that Damon Arnette, a former Ohio State cornerback, has encountered legal trouble once again. He was arrested on January 6 at 3:30 am in Richardson, Texas, and was charged with possession of less than a gram of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a firearm. This news, initially unreported, was brought to light nearly two months later by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Arnette, who was selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders, last played in an NFL game in 2021. He later signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022 under a reserve/futures contract but was released shortly after following his previous arrest on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

This recent arrest adds to a series of off-field issues for Arnette, who has only played in 13 NFL games. During his time at Ohio State from 2016 to 2019, he appeared in 47 games and recorded 140 tackles along with five interceptions.
