According to reports, former Grizzlies forward Kenneth Lofton Jr. has been dismissed by the Philadelphia 76ers.

This is the time of year when NBA teams start deciding on their starting lineups for the rest of the campaign. This involves releasing players on both conventional and two-way contracts in order to make room on the roster for players who would be a better fit. On Friday, the Philadelphia 76ers made the decision to let go of two-way player Kenneth Lofton Jr., a former forward for the Memphis Grizzlies.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN broke the news that Lofton and the 76ers were splitting ways on X, the original name of Twitter. After being waived by the Grizzlies earlier in the season, Lofton signed with Philadelphia, where he played in just two 76ers games during his brief NBA career.
