REPORT: Why Brock Bowers, a TE from Georgia, won’t practice at the NFL Combine

According to numerous rumors, Georgia tight end Brock Bowers will not be taking part in on-field drills at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. Bowers, who is expected to be the top tight end prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft class, has demonstrated his athletic prowess over the last few seasons as one of the most dominant pass-catchers in college, so he doesn’t need to prove much. NFL teams will have to wait until the Bulldogs’ pro day if they still want to watch him practice before this year’s draft.
Because Bowers is still projected to be the first tight end off the board and a lock to go in the top 20, this change shouldn’t have any effect on his draft stock.
