The starting lineup of the Boston Celtics is back in full swing. Tyrese Haliburton’s Indiana Pacers needed to lose, and Jrue Holiday, Derrick White, Jaylen Brown, and Jayson Tatum were available to help. After being cleared by the team’s medical staff, Kristaps Porzingis also participated in the action. According to NBC Sports, Joe Mazzulla handed the big man more than his fair share of minutes, which he might have loved.

“I think everything is fine. Even when it’s not 100% recovered, you might still play with a rolled ankle. Naturally, I would like to attend every game, especially since it’s at home. Every time I have to wear street clothes or a suit, it stings. “I’m glad to be back tonight,” stated Kristaps Porzingis.

In his first game back, the big man for the Celtics did not let anyone down. With 12 rebounds in his 31 minutes of play, he led the team in rebounding. To cap off the evening, Porzingis added 17 points and two assists. Before the All-Star break, it is safe to assume that he is back and ready to go. The Celtics’ other players came through as well, helping them earn their 37th victory of the year.

The Celtics’ strategy to avoid the Pacers

The Celtics were dominating the game from the outset. Compared to the Pacers’ 26 points in the first quarter, they scored 36. The team led by Jayson Tatum would go on to thrash them, scoring 45 points in the second quarter to the opposition’s 40 points.

After the buzzer went off at halftime, Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers came back strong. By scoring 37 points in less than 12 minutes, they attempted to overwhelm the Celtics at their weakest quarter. Both teams were playing flawless defense and throwing haymakers in the final minutes of this match. But the Celtics managed to escape with a five-point victory, winning the last quarter 23 points to the Pacers’ 21.

There were traces of Jayson Tatum along the offensive line. Out of his 19 shots, he made 12 of them to score 30 points. With seven assists, the star of the Celtics led his team as well. Conversely, Tyrese Haliburton refused to back down. He helped the Pacers with 13 points and 10 assists. Aaron Nesmith, who scored 26 points, was their scoring engine.
