Before the trip to Wembley in less than two weeks, Wigan Warriors prodigy Harvie Hill says he wants to give his head coach a selection headache.
In the most recent 26-6 victory against Salford Red Devils, the academy product made an impression with his first-team opportunity. It was his first senior minutes since the home victory over Castleford Tigers earlier in April.

This season, Hill, 20, has made nine appearances across all competitions. In April, he made his debut as a starter during the Battle of the Borough triumph at the Leigh Sports Village.

In addition, he played from the bench in the club’s record-tying victory over Penrith Panthers in the World Club Challenge, which led to their fifth title.

Hill remarked, “I’m glad to be back; I’ve missed it a little.”

Every week has been exciting, and I’m glad to be back.

It’s annoying, but I have to be annoyed in order to get past a middle like ours.

“that’s good for the team and good for me that we have a fantastic middle, and that will only make me better and practice more.

“Everyone is aware of our team’s current excellence.

“During training, it’s evident that everyone is putting forth effort and giving it their best. It is improving us.

Wigan, the defending Super League champions, will play Warrington Wolves in a top-of-the-table match at Halliwell Jones Stadium before the two hot teams are set to face off in the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley.

With Liam Byrne, Sam Walters, and Kaide Ellis all back from their individual suspensions, Warriors head coach Matt Peet will have all of his players available for selection for both games, with the exception of Willie Isa.

In addition, Hill wishes to put his name in the hat for the June 8 match at the national stadium.
