West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus has attracted interest from several top clubs ahead of the upcoming transfer window, including Liverpool and Arsenal. Despite his impressive debut season at West Ham following his move from Ajax last summer, technical director Tim Steidten has indicated that it would require an extraordinary offer to tempt the club into selling the £85 million-rated winger.

Kudus’s stellar performance, with 13 goals and seven assists across all competitions, has made him a sought-after talent. However, despite reports suggesting a potential release clause in his contract, Fabrizio Romano has emphasized that West Ham has not confirmed any such clause and that triggering it would necessitate a “crazy” proposal.

While rumors swirl about Liverpool’s interest in activating the reported release clause, Romano cautions that its activation this summer is not assured. He highlights the complexity of the situation, stating, “It’s still a tricky situation.”

With competition reportedly fierce for Kudus’s signature, including interest from clubs like Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Manchester City, the competition for his services is intense. Moreover, West Ham is also reportedly eyeing Celtic’s Matt O’Riley to strengthen their midfield, although they face competition from Tottenham Hotspur for the 23-year-old’s signature. O’Riley, who has enjoyed an impressive season with Celtic, could be drawn to the prospect of testing himself in the Premier League, potentially giving Tottenham an edge in the pursuit for his services.
