FLORENCE, ORLANDO (AP) — With 29 points from Paolo Banchero, the Orlando Magic defeated the Toronto Raptors 111-96 on Sunday, causing them to lose seven games in a row.

For Orlando, Franz Wagner finished with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, while his brother Moritz added 14 points. From their last ten games, the Magic are now 8-2.

With 18 points, Jordan Nwora led the injury-plagued Raptors, including 12 in a strong third-quarter scoring run. Immanuel Quickley scored twelve points, Bruce Brown scored twelve, and Gary Trent Jr. scored fifteen.

Held to only 16, the Raptors, who lead the NBA in fast-break points following their 37-point outburst against the Magic on Friday night, were held below par. They made eight of thirty-one 3-pointers and turned the ball over eighteen times.

The Magic led 52–47 at the half after a 3-pointer by Caleb Houstan just before the buzzer.

With 4:13 remaining, Franz Wagner’s reverse layup stretched Orlando’s advantage to 104-89.
