Jamie Vardy is expected to make a return to the Leicester City starting lineup for the upcoming match against Bristol City on Friday. Having been declared fully fit, Vardy missed the FA Cup quarter-final loss to Chelsea but has since recovered. His return could see him leading the attack, possibly replacing Patson Daka, who returned late from international duty.

However, Ricardo Pereira’s availability for the match remains uncertain. Enzo Maresca indicated that Pereira may only be a possibility to make the squad for the Bristol City game, suggesting that it might be too soon for him to return to the starting lineup after being sidelined for over a month.

Leicester City will also be forced to make a change due to Callum Doyle’s suspension. Doyle received a red card in the previous match against Chelsea and will serve a one-match suspension. James Justin is expected to fill in at left-back in his absence.

Further changes to the Leicester City lineup for the upcoming match may depend on the return and recovery of players from international duty. With Wout Faes and Jannik Vestergaard representing Belgium and Denmark respectively, Conor Coady may be given an opportunity to play.

However, players like Wilfred Ndidi and Abdul Fatawu, who were away playing for Nigeria and Ghana until Tuesday, are likely to retain their places due to limited options in their positions. Those who remained at the training ground, such as Harry Winks, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Stephy Mavididi, should be fresh and ready to contribute.

The predicted Leicester City lineup in a 4-3-3 formation is as follows: Hermansen; Choudhury, Faes, Vestergaard, Justin; Winks, Ndidi, Dewsbury-Hall; Fatawu, Vardy, Mavididi. Substitutes may include: Stolarczyk, Ricardo, Coady, Souttar, Praet, Yunus, Alves, Albrighton, Marcal, Daka, Iheanacho.
