WINNIPEG—Calf Jarnkrok, a forward for the Toronto Maple Leafs, is out week to week due to a broken knuckle, according to head coach Sheldon Keefe.

Friday’s Maple Leafs practice was abandoned by Jarnkrok after a teammate blasted a puck off his hand.

In 46 games this season, the 32-year-old Swede has 10 goals and 9 assists—his second in Toronto.

In advance of the Maple Leafs’ game against the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday night, forward Ryan Reaves was added to the starting lineup in Jarnkrok’s absence.

After injuring his lower body on December 14, Reaves, who signed a three-year, US$4.05 million contract last off-season, had not appeared in a game.

In 21 games, the 37-year-old has one goal.
