Said Benrahma says he left West Ham to join Lyon during the January transfer window with “no hesitation.”

Said Benrahma hasn’t been hesitant to take a few subtle jabs at the Hammers after departing the team on loan at the end of January. It is evident that he was unhappy in East London, as evidenced by his statements that he had only recently begun to feel trust after moving and that Lyon trained harder than West Ham.

Not surprise, he’s targeted West Ham once more, behaving as though he’s eager to leave the team. “Lyon genuinely shown interest in me. That was hardly a matter of doubt. He went on to say, “Afterward, I can feel the support of the city of Lyon,” before expressing his emotions following his first goal for the team. “I felt liberated and extremely happy.” I felt more at ease with the ball after the goal. I thus made an effort to give my best.

Benrahma was given far more time by most West Ham supporters than his performance deserved, therefore it is puzzling that he would suggest he didn’t feel the support of the East London supporters. Furthermore,

It’s only puzzling that a player would take so many chances at the team where he is still working; the French team is under no need to make the transfer permanent.

The Algerian’s remarks would be extremely difficult if he were to return to the claret and blue uniform for the upcoming season if he does poorly in Ligue 1.
