RALEIGH, North Carolina – The 32 teams nominated for the 2023–24 King Clancy Memorial Trophy were revealed by the National Hockey League on Wednesday. Jaccob Slavin, the alternate captain of the Carolina Hurricanes, was selected as the team’s representative.

The prize is given out every year “to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community.”
