Stephen Carr discusses what Birmingham City needs after hiring Gary Rowett

The Blues leadership rushed to appoint an interim manager when manager Tony Mowbray took a formal medical leave of absence until the end of the season, during Rowett’s tenure as manager from 2014 to 2016.

With just eight games left, Rowett will have to fight to keep the team in the division as they are just one spot above the relegation zone and even on points with Huddersfield Town, who are in 22nd place.

Stephen Carr’s assessment of Birmingham City’s recent management changes

Stephen Carr, who played 119 games for Birmingham City from 2009 to 2013, thinks that for his old team to succeed in the future, they need stability.

The former Ireland international, who led the team to the League Cup championship in 2011, feels that the circumstances surrounding Mowbray have been terrible for the club, but there has just been too much turmoil at the group. Report Phrase

“I think Wayne Rooney knew that he was coming into a tricky situation,” said Stephen Carr in an interview with BoyleSports, which provides the most recent EFL betting. I understand the owners’ reasoning for wanting to bring in a well-known star who might draw in other players.

“It hasn’t worked out, but they believed that would be a really fantastic move for them.

“After Tony’s incident, they have yet another setback, and they return to their previous routine with Gary present.

“There’s simply too much instability overall. It’s absurd to have four managers in a season.”

Carr thinks the team might have the basics to rebuild next season if Rowett can maintain them in the Championship this year.

The former right-back for Birmingham stated, “The stability has to be there.”

“I think they need to get Rowett in to stay in the division, and then you move on forward with more stability next year.”Stephen Carr, who played 119 games for Birmingham City from 2009 to 2013, thinks that for his old team to succeed in the future, they need stability.

Gary Rowett has a difficult job at Birmingham City.

Birmingham City turn to Gary Rowett

Birmingham City has been in terrible form and hasn’t won a game since mid-February. As a result, they are currently lower in the Championship standings.

Raising the troops and preparing his side for battle will be Rowett’s first priority, as St Andrew’s morale appears to be low right now.

There isn’t a more significant match for Blues’ first game back from the international break than their trip to West London to take on QPR in what is very probably a six-pointer for relegation.

The former Millwall player will be well aware that he has a difficult task ahead of him, but away games against Huddersfield and Rotherham in April will also present opportunities for Rowett’s team to win several points.

Although his club has been struggling, teams surrounding them might be itching to get a point, especially because teams like Sheffield Wednesday and QPR have been playing well lately.

He will have a point to prove, and Birmingham’s supporters will be forever grateful if he could maintain their club in the Championship this season. Rowett left the club under questionable circumstances in December 2016, which is not too dissimilar from John Eustace’s current situation.
