According to Football Transfers, West Ham United has held talks to sign Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth this summer and is willing to give him £115k per week.

In an article published on their website on March 8, the Hammers claimed to have moved quickly to gain an advantage in the competition for the striker’s signature and to have had discussions about a summer transfer with members of his family and entourage.

Additionally, Bournemouth will receive a £45 million fee from West Ham in exchange for a massive salary increase, which the Cherries may find too good to refuse in order to complete the deal.

Dominic Solanke and West Ham might be a great fit.
Without a doubt, the Hammers will desperately need a new striker for the 2024–2025 campaign, as

The team really needs a consistent goal scorer.

Danny Ings has never been able to have an influence at the London Stadium since he joined the team, while Michail Antonio is getting older and past his prime.

So much so that Moyes has chosen to play Jarrod Bowen, a natural winger, as the central striker for the majority of the season. With Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus providing support, Bowen has scored a lot of goals.

Dominic Solanke, a striker for Bournemouth United West Ham
There have been rumors about Dominic Solanke joining West Ham United.

However, having Solanke in the lineup would enable a more conventional style of play, and as a striker, he could fill a variety of

of systems, therefore if David Moyes left the team, it wouldn’t really affect anything.

Given that they were supposedly originally quoted for more than £50 million, a player as good as this would come at a reasonable salary of £45 million, and he would fix a significant problem in the squad. It sounds almost too wonderful to be true.
