Brisbane Broncos coach Kevin Walters became emotional as he opened up about the difficult journey his family endured when his first wife battled cancer. Walters, who had a successful playing career with 242 games for Brisbane and four premierships before transitioning to coaching, shared his story during an episode of Fox League’s Face to Face with Yvonne Sampson.
During the candid conversation, the 56-year-old discussed various aspects of his life, including his upbringing, rugby league career, and the loss of his first wife, Kim, in 1998. Kim Walters, the mother of Kevin’s first three children, tragically passed away after a two-year struggle with breast cancer.
