The Browns demonstrate significant confidence in Jerry Jeudy by offering him a contract extension worth up to $58 million.

Earlier this week, news emerged that the Cleveland Browns had modified WR Jerry Jeudy’s contract, releasing $10 million in cap space. Now, there’s been another development. As per Ian Rapoport from the NFL Network, the Browns have finalized a three-year extension with Jeudy, potentially totaling $58 million.

The agreement reflects a strong belief in Jeudy’s capabilities, with GM Andrew Berry wagering that his past statistical performance was hindered by subpar quarterbacking in Denver. Nonetheless, it’s a substantial financial commitment for a receiver whose numbers closely resemble those of former Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones from 2021-2022.

With the extension spanning three years, Jeudy is now tied to the Browns for four seasons, running through 2027, with $41 million guaranteed over that period. Securing one of their top three receivers beyond the 2024 season was crucial for Cleveland, especially with Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore, both acquired via trades, nearing the end of their contracts.
