GOALSCRORERS With Southampton’s 4-3 victory over Birmingham, Adam Armstrong and David Brooks have been included in the most recent Championship team of the week.

After Wales international Brooks had set up Koji Miyoshi’s first goal, Armstrong tied the score for Saints.

His total for the season is at 17, two goals behind leading scorer Sammie Szmodics. That goal was his eighth career goal versus the Blues.

Just before halftime, the 27-year-old’s bending attempt went straight into the goal’s corner where the crossbar and post meet, denying him a second.

After scoring Southampton’s second goal to tie the score against Russell Martin’s team following Jay Stansfield’s goal just before halftime, Brooks now plays with Armstrong on the team of the week.
Five minutes before Che Adams gave Saints the lead for the first time, the Cherries loanee curled in from the edge of the box to score his second goal since coming on loan.
