Spurs are allegedly interested in Gabriel Osho, a defender for Luton Town.
Like most of his teammates at Kenilworth Road, the 25-year-old has been adjusting to his debut Premier League season.

Osho has been a standout member of the Hatters’ defense, starting 17 games in the top division and scoring twice, most notably on February 3 in a 4–4 draw with Newcastle United.

The center back was recently called up for Nigeria’s March internationals after garnering praise from around the world for his homegrown exploits.

However, a knee injury prevented Osho from making his international debut for the Super Eagles against either Ghana or Mali in friendly fixtures.

Spurs interested in Luton’s Osho?

According to GiveMeSport, Tottenham are looking to bolster their defensive ranks for a third straight transfer window ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

It is understood that Spurs are targeting a potential off-season swoop for Luton’s Osho, who is approaching a critical junction in his Hatters career.

The defender’s current terms at Kenilworth Road expire at the conclusion of the term, meaning that he is able to leave on a free transfer in the summer.

Since joining Luton in 2020, Osho has played 81 times for the Hatters across all competitions, helping the club to reach the Premier League for the first time in its history.

However, Rob Edwards‘s side have serious work to do in order to preserve their first-tier status, with Luton currently 18th, one point behind 17th-placed Nottingham Forest.

Spurs need defensive reinforcements
Since Ange Postecoglou took over as head coach from Celtic last summer, Tottenham has focused on adding significant reinforcements to its backline.

Spurs have spent almost £70 million in the last two transfer windows to bring Radu Dragusin and Micky van de Ven to North London, but the Lilywhites still have few choices.

Owing to injuries sustained during the season, Ben Davies, a left-back, has frequently been used in Postecoglou’s defense alongside players like Christian Romero.

Spurs are currently having trouble keeping their full-backs healthy; Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie are both sidelined with hamstring and muscular problems, respectively.
