April 14, 2025 | London, UK – In what fans around the globe are calling a dream come true, legendary rock band The Moody Blues has officially announced a long-awaited Reunion World Tour, accompanied by a brand-new studio album titled “Timeless Skies.” This marks the band’s first tour and new release in over a decade, reigniting the magic of their psychedelic symphonic rock legacy.
Founding members Justin Hayward and John Lodge, joined by a full live orchestra and a specially curated rhythm section, will embark on a 10-country global journey beginning this October. The tour will serve both as a tribute to their late drummer Graeme Edge and a celebration of their enduring musical influence, which spans over 60 years.
“We feel the time is right,” said Hayward in a press statement. “The world has changed, but the power of music to heal, inspire, and unite hasn’t. Timeless Skies is a love letter to our fans and to the spirit of The Moody Blues that never really faded.”
New Album: Timeless Skies
The new album, set to release on October 1, 2025, features 12 original tracks that blend the band’s classic orchestral textures with fresh lyrical introspection. Highlights include:
-
“Twilight Symphony” – a moving tribute to Graeme Edge
-
“Forever in a Dream”
-
“The Rain Knows Why”
-
“Echoes Through Time”
-
The title track, “Timeless Skies”, which will debut live during the tour’s opening night.
Recorded over 18 months in studios across London and Nashville, the album reunites Hayward and Lodge creatively for the first time in years, promising to bridge generational gaps in their fanbase.
Reunion World Tour Dates
The “Timeless Skies World Tour” kicks off in London at The O2 Arena on October 5 and will include stops in New York, Toronto, Tokyo, Sydney, and Paris before concluding with a Valentine’s Day finale on the Rock and Romance Cruise in Miami.
“It’s more than nostalgia,” said John Lodge. “It’s a rebirth of what made The Moody Blues special – emotional storytelling through sound.”
Tickets and Preorders
Tickets go on sale May 15, 2025, via the official tour website and major ticketing platforms. Fans can also preorder the album starting next week, with limited-edition vinyl and deluxe CD box sets available.
