Here’s a summary of the recent transfer news in the Scottish Premiership involving Hearts and Hibs’ league rivals:

Hearts conclude their 2023/24 season with a home match against Rangers, aiming to finish on a positive note after a 2-2 draw with St Mirren in their last outing. Meanwhile, Hibs secured a 3-0 victory over Motherwell at Easter Road but are now in search of a new manager following the departure of Nick Montgomery.

Midfielder Ewan Henderson, who was loaned to KV Oostende last summer, is set to return to Hibs after the Belgian side failed to secure a takeover, leading to their dissolution. Despite a successful loan spell with seven goals in 31 appearances, Henderson will now head back to his parent club.

Aberdeen’s Junior Hoilett, formerly of Blackburn Rovers and QPR, expressed his contentment with his time at the club since joining in February. With his contract expiring soon, he remains open about his future, stating that he has not yet engaged in discussions but has felt supported by the club, fans, and teammates.

Livingston manager David Martindale emphasized the need for a clearer ownership structure for the club, especially after their relegation to the Championship. Martindale is set for discussions regarding his own future with the club and stressed the importance of a stable ownership model moving forward, regardless of the outcome of the ongoing legal dispute over ownership.
