While acknowledging that his side didn’t create as many opportunities as they would have liked, Cifuentes commended their dedication and defensive organization, which prevented Sunderland from registering a single shot on target. He thwarted Lukas Andersen’s attempt after Dan Ballard’s errant pass in the first half and pulled off an even more impressive reflex save to deny Chris Willock late in the game.
